ASKIT.COM RAISES $1.3 MILLION

internet.com Venture Partners III and internet.com fuel Growth of E-customer Service Company

New York, July 27, 2000 - AskIt.com, an Application Service Provider that is a leader in outsourced online customer service solutions for small to mid-market companies, today announced that it has closed on $1.3 million of Series A funding from internet.com Venture Partners III, part of the affiliated venture capital arm of internet.com Corporation, (Nasdaq: INTM) the Internet Industry Portal. AskIt.com anticipates that it will raise an additional $900,000 before it closes this round of financing August 26, 2000.
